How to Fix This Common Mistake When Deadlifting

The deadlift is one of the best lifts to build lower body strength and size, but because of higher technique demands it’s common for folks to avoid performing the lift.

Today CDSF coaches Mike Sirani and Dan Jones go over one tip to help you improve your deadlift and feel more comfortable setting up for the lift.

The Tip:

✅ When lowering down to the bar or kettlebell think about pushing your hips back through your belt buckle or pushing your butt back toward an imaginary wall behind you.

🚫 Bend the knees and squat down to the bar with your lower back rounded.
