How to Progress Inverted Rows

In today’s post we’re going to talk about how to progress the inverted row. The inverted row is an exercise that we commonly use at Capital District Sport and Fitness to train your upper back and anterior core.

To initially progress the inverted row you’ll simply walk your feet lower on the floor, requiring you to work against gravity more. Once you’ve walked your feet as low as you can go you have a few options to increase the difficulty. In today’s post CDSF coach Dan Jones shows you four ways to progress your inverted row.

1. Paused TRX Row

2. Feet Elevated TRX Row

3. TRX Row vs. Chains

4. 1-Arm TRX Row w/ Offset KB Hold
